Ratings Cards

Rating Cards help you gather structured feedback on candidates during the Review stage of your hiring workflow. 🧐 Unlike automation, this is where you bring in real humans to assess candidates and share their thoughts!

You can create custom rating cards with specific evaluation criteria so your team knows exactly what to look for when reviewing candidates.

Who Can Access Rating Cards?

To access Recruiting Settings, you’ll need to be an Admin or Mega Admin—so if that’s not you, please reach out to your administrator for assistance.

Finding Your Rating Cards

Click on the settings gear ⚙️ in the bottom left corner.

Select Recruitment Settings from the menu.

Navigate to the Rating Cards section using the list on the left.

*We’ve already added a default rating card as a fallback option in case a Review stage doesn’t have a custom rating card assigned. (Heads up—it can’t be deleted!)

Rating Card Types

You’ve got two rating card options to choose from:

Basic Rating Card – A simple 5-star rating system with a description field for additional comments.

Categorized Rating Card – A detailed card with custom sections to guide structured feedback on different aspects of the candidate’s qualifications.

Choose the one that best fits your hiring needs!

Adding a New Rating Card

Need a custom rating card? Here’s how to create one in just a few clicks:

Click “+ Add Rating Card” in the upper right corner.

A window will open for you to complete:

  • Name of the rating card

  • Description (so your team knows when to use it)

  • Rating Card Type (Basic or Categorized)

  • Custom categories/criteria if using a Categorized Rating Card

Hit Save, and you’re all set!

Editing an Existing Rating Card

To edit a rating card, simply click the pencil & paper icon next to its title, make your changes in the pop-up window, and hit Save—your updated rating card will be ready to go!
